The Byrna LE Short Barrel Launcher is a compact less-lethal defense platform, carrying over the upgraded trigger and valve assembly from the full-size LE into a shorter, more maneuverable frame. It fires .68 caliber projectiles at speeds up to 294 fps, giving it real stopping power in a size built for easy carry and handling. Because this Basic Kit ships without chemical projectiles, it's legal to purchase in all 50 states, making it a straightforward entry point into the LE platform — add CO2 and .68 caliber projectiles separately once you're ready to load it up.

This is a launcher-only Basic Kit — the bare essentials to get started on the LE Short Barrel platform:

CO2 cylinders and .68 caliber projectiles are sold separately. This launcher is compatible with Byrna Pepper rounds, Byrna MAX rounds, Byrna Kinetic rounds, and Byrna Eco Kinetic rounds, all in .68 caliber.

The Short Barrel isn't a stripped-down version of the LE — it's the same upgraded trigger and valve assembly in a more compact package. If you want the LE's performance with a shorter overall length for easier handling or storage, this is that variant.

- Pull-Pierce CO2 Technology: The CO2 cartridge stays sealed inside the launcher until your first trigger pull. That pull punctures the cartridge and fires the first round simultaneously, so there's no standby pressure loss while it sits loaded.
- Red Dot & Laser Ready: An updated top slide and Picatinny rail let you mount a Byrna Red Dot Pro Sight for faster target acquisition. The Byrna laser sight also fits this rail and is available in either red or green. All sold separately.
- High-Contrast White Dot Sights: Bright white sights built in for quicker visual pickup without an optic.
- Honeycomb Overmolded Grip: Textured grip pattern for a more secure hold in hand.
