Planet Eclipse GTek 180R Charcoal Gold

Meet the Planet Eclipse Gtek 180R Paintball Marker in Charcoal Gold. Charcoal and gold is a classy combo, and on the 180R it looks every bit as good as the marker shoots. This is the latest 180R line gun from Planet Eclipse, and it's built for players who want top level performance without paying top level prices.

Why Players Are Upgrading to the 180R

The 170R was already a favorite, so what makes the 180R worth it? Quite a bit, actually:

• An all new OP-R drivetrain that borrows from the CS3's OP Core
• The S63 barrel system, with a .689 insert included and more available
• Operating pressure dropped to 120 psi
• Fresh grips and a new milling design
• A softer shot and better performance across the board

Your marker is the most important thing in your gear bag. It doesn't matter if you're a weekend rec player or working your way toward the pro circuit, you need something you can count on. The 160R set the bar, the 170R raised it, and now the 180R pushes it again.

Inside the OP-R Core Drivetrain

Planet Eclipse took the OP Core from their flagship CS3 and adapted it for the 180R. The result is the OP-R Core, and you'll notice the difference right away. Shots are steady and consistent, but the marker still feels quick and responsive. It's more efficient, runs at a lower pressure, kicks less, sounds quieter, and is easier on your paint. On top of all that, it's even more reliable than the R line markers before it.

Charcoal Gold Gtek 180R: Looks and Ergonomics

Bold cuts and crisp machining give the 180R a look that can hang with any high end marker on the field. The materials and finish are a clear step up and the whole thing just feels well made. New dual-density rubber grips, front and rear, are soft and comfortable, and the stretched out, low slung body makes it easy to tuck in tight and snap shoot.

Accuracy Out of the Box With the S63 Barrel

You won't need to buy a barrel right away. The 180R comes with a streamlined S63 three-piece barrel and a 0.689 Eclipse PWR Insert. Fully assembled it's 14.5 inches long and shoots accurately right out of the case. If you shoot different paint sizes, you can pick up more PWR Inserts separately. They're also compatible with the S63 Pro Barrel System if you want to upgrade down the road.

Electronics You Can Set Up Your Way

The 180R's new electronics are built on MME (Modular Marker Electronics), the same tough platform Planet Eclipse uses in the LV2 and CS3. A sharp OLED display makes it simple to move through settings and firing modes, so setup only takes a few minutes. The adjustable trigger comes with a removable blade shoe that you can change out in seconds to get the feel you like.

Electro or Mechanical, Your Choice

Feel like playing some mech? No problem. The 180R is fully mech compatible, just like the 170R. Pick up the optional 180R mech frame, swap it on, and in a few minutes you're shooting mechanical. The mech frame features a fully ball raced trigger with linear bearing support, plus the FL 3-Way for crazy fast mech performance. Since the new rear grips fit both the electro and mech frames, it feels just as comfortable in either setup.
