Umarex P2P Secure 68P Impact Defense Kit: How the Response Ready Trigger Works
Most CO2 pistols make you pierce the cartridge before you're ready, which means it's either sitting pressurized and slowly losing gas, or you're fumbling to set it up in the moment it actually matters. The Secure 68P skips that problem. The CO2 stays sealed until you pull the trigger, so the first pull both punctures the cartridge and fires the first round. It can sit ready for as long as you need it to, with nothing to prep ahead of time.
The cap covering the CO2 channel also has Set Torque Technology built in, so you can't accidentally crank it down too tight and strip it.

Great product 20+ joules first shot every time, tech tip If your planing to dye your upper it's so easy one pin just look for the side thats looks like a BB or more rounded pop it out with a punch use something to remove the tritium sights carefully they can break easily you probably dont want them black YouTube has tuns of videos on it sterling self defense has a veer good tutorial that's it over all I,m very pleased with this purchase and now even better with the dye job
Superior build quality and ease of operation. This is a super launcher that delivers great power. I love the hammer feature, it allows for single action operation and skips the long double action travel on the trigger and significantly reduces trigger pull increasing accuracy.

The P2P Secure 68P has been a great Launcher so far. Almost half the cost of a Byrna LE,CL, and SD. The Response Ready Trigger and the STS features on the Secure 68P are awesome! Im probably gonna get a 9 round Magazine and the carrying case the 68P comes with is high quality. Great Job P2P/Umarex and Thank You DiscountPaintball!
Unfortunately for Byrna this launcher is going to cut into their LE business. Essentially the same power and with the same initial first shot action to pierce the CO2 and fire the first shot - No push to pierce buttons or turn to pierce actions. So more natural to a shooter.
One thing I noticed is that the trigger on the Secure 68P does tend to pinch my finger during the long and heavy trigger pull. But I've got big fingers so probably won't impact most folks.
I hope that UX or the aftermarket make tool-less CO2 caps for these, like folks make for the Byrna's. I prefer those, especially for the Secure 68P where you have to force the cap on under some spring tension of the CO2 cartridge, and I constantly feel like I am going to cross thread the cap.
The P68 is a pretty unique launcher. About the power, I can’t complain. The blowback and the first trigger pull co2 piercing was a awesome addition.

The Secure 68P is a larger frame launcher, so while you can conceal it, you will need the appropriate clothing and holster.
