Nice small size with little to no things that can get caught. Perfect for keeping concealed in my cozy while I walk my dog through a section of woods near my house that is known to have coyotes, fisher cats, and tweakers.

Great product for self defense in difficult states like my own. I like how the orange color helps show its non lethal. Looks intimidating as well and is a good all round size. Feels great in your hand as well. Plus you can practice with it in your yard or basement depending on how big either are.

While it works, I wish Umarex make something light that can fit in a pocket.

The pistol is easy to load, activate, and shoot.
It has more heft/weight, a harder trigger pull, and is louder than the Sabre defense pistol.

For around $100 including a case and some accessories, it is a great value.

It is a bit less expensive than the Sabre and is much less expensive than a Byrna.

Good quality, only negative is the low round capacity, 5 shots should be a minimum for any launcher.

This pistol is a great bargain for “less-than-lethal” self defense it works well and should prove to be dependable.

Having the attachment rail up front is a big plus. If they moved the loading opening back towards the trigger more it would be even better.

I like the new HDP50. It is very powerful and accurate. I wish it would come with the barrel already black so I don't have to go through the hassle of having to dye it. Other than that, I really don't have any complaints.

Trigger mechanism tends to jam up.

I brought it for my girlfriend for home protection. I'm a 10 year army veteran so I teach her the proper techniques on handling a weapon. Thanks guys. Nice product. Whoora.

i was thinking about getting a Byrna for my wife to have in the car in case of an emergency. when reviewing the Byrna, i found a video comparing it to the Umarex. i bought the Umarex and tested it and was very happy with it. cant beat the value of getting 3 of these for the price of one of theirs. i may buy more of the Umarex for my granddaughters.

I have 2 of these 1st gen, 2nd gen. I think they should offer it in a variety of joule outputs. Other than that I really like it for non-lethal alternative.
