Light and simple to use, the Umarex HDP (Home Defense Pistol) is powered by 12 gram CO2 cartridges and fires .50 caliber round balls - like Pepperballs - from a 6 round magazine. An ideal non-lethal alternative to firearms, the Umarex HDP .50 caliber pistol features a fiber optic front sight that's easy to put on target, a trigger safety to help prevent inadvertent discharge and an accessory rail under the barrel for lights or lasers. Protect yourself and your home through uncertain times with a Umarex HDP .50 caliber pistol.

Includes 10 rubber balls for practice and 10 live Pepper balls.
12 gram co2 cartridges are sold separately. These are needed to power the gun.
What is new the the Gen 2 HDP 50:
With an improved Quick Pierce CO2 mechanism and 13 Joules of power, the HDP 50 is right on track to launch (6) .50 caliber pepper balls at 485 FPS. This means the HDP 50 Gen 2 is generating 13 Joules of power to the threat and helping you create space between yourself and danger.
The 2nd-generation version of the proven HDP 50 has been optimized in design and function for superior performance and readiness for operation.

Does it have paintballs to shoot as well as the pepper balls and rubber practise balls? It would be fun to shoot paintballs. How far will the shots go, and how frequently does the CO cartridge need replacing?

Paintballs are not included as this is not designed for paintball use. The velocity is too high.
