The HK Army Alpha Air 88ci is built for players who don't want to think about air at all during a long day on the field. It's the second-largest bottle in HK Army's five-size Alpha Air lineup, giving you a big jump in air capacity over the 77ci while still using the same lightweight carbon fiber construction and 4500psi rating as the rest of the line.

At 9.65in long and 1lb 14.4oz (0.86kg), the 88ci adds real air capacity without ballooning in size — it keeps the same 4.4in diameter as every other bottle in the Alpha Air line, so tank covers and pouches sized for the smaller bottles still fit, you'll just need a slightly longer sleeve. Like the rest of the lineup, it's available in a wide range of color finishes.

HK Army Alpha Air 88ci Key Features

  • Second-largest capacity in HK Army's five-size Alpha Air lineup (48ci–98ci)

  • Full carbon fiber wrap keeps the extra capacity lightweight
  • Compatible with HK Army Standard, MP5, HP8, and Turbine Pro regulators, plus Ninja, Immortal Air, and Empire
  • Bottle only — pair with a regulator you already own, or build a complete system with our Tank Builder

Universal Regulator Compatibility

This is a bottle-only listing — no regulator is included. Every bottle in the Alpha Air line, including the 88ci, shares the same standard tank valve thread, so it works with HK Army's Standard, MP5, HP8, and Turbine Pro regulators right out of the box, along with regulators from other major brands such as Ninja, Immortal Air, and Empire.

Build a Complete Air System

Also Available In

The Alpha Air carbon fiber tank is available in five capacities — 48ci, 68ci, 77ci, 88ci, and 98ci — and the 88ci is the second-largest option, just below the 98ci. This listing is for the 88ci bottle only.

Frequently Asked Questions

No. This is a bottle-only listing for the 88ci carbon fiber tank. HK Army's Standard, MP5, HP8, and Turbine Pro regulators will all thread directly onto this bottle, along with regulators from Ninja, Immortal Air, and Empire — or use our Tank Builder to select a bottle and regulator together as one complete system.

Yes. The 88ci shares the same tank valve thread as every other size in the Alpha Air line, so HK Army's Standard, MP5, HP8, and Turbine Pro regulators fit directly, as do regulators from Ninja, Immortal Air, and Empire.

The 88ci is a good fit for players who'd rather carry a bit more air than swap tanks mid-day — scenario and big-game players, back players who go through more shots per point, or anyone running a less air-efficient marker. If you want maximum capacity, the 98ci goes even further; if you want something more compact, the 77ci or 68ci will feel closer to a tournament-size bottle.

The 88ci holds about 14% more air than the 77ci, in exchange for roughly 0.65in of extra length and about 2.4oz of added weight — a modest size increase for a meaningful bump in capacity.

The 88ci keeps the same 4.4in diameter as every other bottle in the Alpha Air line, so tank covers and pouches sized for the smaller sizes will still slide on. Since the 88ci is longer at 9.65in, just make sure the cover has enough length to fully enclose it.

Carbon fiber (composite) paintball tanks are DOT/TC certified and need a hydrostatic retest every five years from their manufacture date to remain in service — the exact date is stamped directly on the bottle.
