If you've shot a 170R, here's what Planet Eclipse changed for the 180R:

OP-R Core Drivetrain for a Smooth, Consistent Shot

The heart of the 180R is the new OP-R Core. It's a trimmed down version of the OP Core in the CS3, and it gives the 180R a really consistent shot while keeping that lively, snappy feel R line owners love. You get better efficiency, lower operating pressure, less kick, a quieter report, and gentler paint handling. Reliability was already a strong point on the R line, and it's even better here.

New Milling and Grips That Feel Great in Hand

The 180R has sharper, more aggressive lines than the 170R, and the fit and finish looks right at home next to high end markers. The new rear grips and foregrip use dual-density rubber, so they feel soft and grippy. Pair that with the long, low profile shape and the 180R is just plain comfortable to hold and shoot all day.

S63 Barrel System With 0.689 PWR Insert

Every 180R ships with a streamlined S63 three-piece barrel and a 0.689 Eclipse PWR Insert. Put together, the barrel measures 14.5 inches and shoots straight and steady. Want to match your bore to your paint? Extra PWR Inserts are sold separately, and they also fit the S63 Pro Barrel System if you decide to upgrade later.

MME Electronics and Adjustable Trigger

The 180R runs a new electronics package built on Planet Eclipse's MME (Modular Marker Electronics) platform, the same system used in the LV2 and CS3. The OLED screen is easy to read, and you get a full set of firing modes and settings so you can dial it in for any style of play. The trigger is adjustable and has a removable blade shoe you can swap in seconds.

Play Mech With the Optional 180R Mech Frame

Like the 170R, the 180R works as both an electro and a mechanical marker. Grab the optional 180R mech frame, swap it on in a few minutes, and you're ready for some old school mech games. The mech frame has a fully ball raced, linear bearing supported trigger, and the FL 3-Way gives you seriously fast mechanical performance. The new rear grips fit both frames, so it feels the same either way.
